Death Cab For Cutie Tour Dates
Death Cab for Cutie is on the radio as I write this. Is it a sign I should say something? I missed out on their Sacramento concert the last time they toured the U.S., but I won't miss them this time. Who cares they're emo or not. Death Cab rocks!
My friend Tyler, who did attend the concert warned me that I'd never have a better opportunity to see the band in concert. Now I'll be forced to drive all the way to Santa Barbara to finally see them.
Death Cab For Cutie has signed up Ted Leo + the Pharmacists, Jenny Lewis and OK Go as support acts for its fall tour. And I guess Death Cab guitarist Chris Walla is due to release a solo album in March via Barsuk, the band’s longtime indie label. Can't wait to see what that's like.
Death Cab For Cutie's tour dates are as follows:
Oct. 26: Upper Darby, Pa. (Tower Theatre)
Oct. 27: Rochester, N.Y. (Auditorium Theatre)

Here we are, the end of the blog entry. It never really struck me, until now, how rigorous these bands' schedules are when they'reon tour. Of course, if you're an emo band, then you're used to this kind of gratuitous self-torture, right?!!!
"Here Comes the Black Parade" is playing on my radio now, My Chemical Romance's new song which fails to live up to the pre-release hype in my not-so-humble opinion. Our local radio personality described the song as "spine tingling-ly" good. I beg to differ.
